One of our most exciting ministries is our YWAM Comarca Ngäbe Outpost. The Ngäbe’s are the largest indigenous groups in Central America, with a population of over 260,000, and the poorest in the American Hemisphere. Even though the nation of Panama is 20% evangelical, the Ngäbes remain less the 4%.
In the last 8 years, our Ngäbe YWAM leaders, Rafael and Bertilia, along with their team have planted 19 Indigenous churches, and by God´s grace and through our Ngäbe YWAM team efforts over 5000 Ngäbes have made decisions for Christ. Additionally, we have now run 3 Ngäbe Discipleship Training Schools, 4 have complete the Discipleship Bible School and 8 the Leadership and Ministry Development School.
There are many ways you can partner with this amazing Church planting and development movement.
- Give scholarship money to train Ngäbe leaders
- Build a home for a needy family
- Bring or join a medical outreach team
- Sponsor and help a child go to school
- Help us get a Bible into every Ngäbe home
